Health Care Priorities in Tough Economic Times
The Dearborn County Chamber’s “Buy Dearborn” campaign is promoting the value associated with buying products and services from people you know and can trust.
We think the same value proposition applies to your health care … and the role your primary care physician plays. Yes, everybody is watching their pennies a little closer these days and cutting back on some expenditures. We understand, but we also want to remind patients that the old adage “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” is as true today as it ever was, and your health care is no frill or luxury.
Make being healthy a priority and practice good health habits. Take your medicines … they have been prescribed to get you healthy or keep you healthy and to prevent more serious problems from developing. And by all means, don’t put off seeing your primary care physician when you have a health care issue. The timely visit to the doctor’s office may head off more serious and costly consequences in the future.
